I had an installer saved on my external hard drive, but I had the unpleasant surprise to discover that it was an online installer. Thank you again for the link. A number of posts down the thread somebody posted that though they got this error message they found to their joy when clicking on Windows Start, there was the MovieMaker icon and it had indeed installed. So I looked myself and
