Trial of sea lion

Edit: Take the zepplin from ogrimmar to undercity. I found both halves last night at 29,29 and 56, 8 Edited, Wed Jan 11 If you go directly behind the inn to the right you will see a tree.

On the right side of the tree is a crack in the rocks if you climb and jump up you will jump into the crack, jump again and you get to the top of the rocks then slide down the cracks. At the bottom to the left you will see an opening in the rocks, go through there this is a quest area for a Shaman totem Go over to the ocean and walk to the right around and along the rocks and you will come to the cove with the ship.

I didn't have to deal with any moon gluttons this way. After looking up and down the area that I thought was the place to look, I went searching other sites for info.

Eventually I found it. Here is what I came up with. The info given is a tad misleading. First, go to Sentinel Hill in westfall. Head Due west from there. Go to the mentioned quarry itself, not to where it meets the ocean. From the quarry, head NNW. When you hit the water keep going. There is an anchor under water, right at the edge of the ocean shelf. This marks the spot to where you need to dive, over the edge of the shelf, into the depths.

There is a rock fissure there, as promised and the box is right there too. Get the amulet and I recommend porting back to Moonglade from down there. This involved an anchor in the sand as well.

This is NOT that anchor! That one is on the shore. Though not that far from it, to the North, the one you seek is far out and deep in the ocean. Good luck! Comment by Allakhazam you know, it might help if you level a couple times before you do this, because then you get less aggro and can kill any mobs that do aggro to you easier, and you can survive easier if a mob you know will kill you attacks you however, call me stupid if you want i'm not sure if leveling affects your ability to do the quest.

Makes things SO much easier. Comment by Allakhazam Hum.. Comment by Allakhazam Ketsugi is mistaken -the two quests are not identical. The locations that you have to go to retrieve the pendant halves are in completely different places. Talk to the Hippogryph Masters for details on where to go - or look at the last half of the quest details above.

Comment by Allakhazam I have spent the past 2 hours trawling up and down the veiled sea looking for a V-shaped Rock and have come to the conclusion that it's like looking for a fragment of a very small needle in several billion haystacks. Needless to dsay I am rather annoyed. Can anybody help me with this in Shadowmoon? Comment by Allakhazam Speak to Silva Fil'naveth, the night elf flight master. That's where you find out the first hint of where to go for a pendant piece, and Bunthen Plainswind, the other flight master will give you the second half.

Comment by Allakhazam look ur tellin mwe that the other half is in silevpine and it is 29, Comment by Allakhazam dup. Comment by Allakhazam hi all I followed all the instructions but am having problems with all the co-ordinates you post - I have no co-ordinates on my maps - so I tried to download some add-on but it doesn't seem to work with my recent patched game I been into great sea and all up and down the boundary between north tide runs and great sea - this is very frustrating without those addon thingies!

Comment by Allakhazam The quest was changed by Blizzard to make it easier the box is now located next to the bubbles in beta box was out further past the bubbles which too long time to get.. Comment by Allakhazam cosmos coordinates for the one in silverpine is 29,29 for cosmos users. Comment by Allakhazam what about the horde Comment by Allakhazam Ok, let me just be helpful here and make a nice summary of all the information everyone has already posted here and what exactly I went through for my quest.

So no one has to read the conflicting posts about the night elves' quest and think this is some uber-hard quest. The flightmasters will tell you where the pendants are. Talk to both of them. Fly back to Thunder Bluff or the Crossroads. Crossroads preferably since you need to head to Ogrimmar. If you can fly to Ogrimmar, great, do so and skip number 3 and go to 4.

If you can only fly to Crossroads, take the north road out of Crossroads and take the right fork into Durotar. From there, follow the road to Ogrimmar. Find the zeppelin platform and take a zeppelin to the Undercity.

If you accidentally take the zeppelin to Grol'gom base camp in Stranglethorn Vale, just wait and the one to Undercity will come along. Make your way into Undercity first before following the signs to Silverpine and unlock the flightpath, then head into Silverpine.

When in Silverpine, stop by the Seplucher and unlock the flightpath there, then proceed to North Tide's Run being weary of those Moonrage Glutton things. Find the wreaked ship on the bank and swim west, keeping careful of those reef sharks.

If you go down around 29, 30 or so, you should be able to see the bubbly fissure right off the bat. Grab the pendant and head back to Seplucher to fly back to Undercity. Zeppelin back to Ogrimmar and fly into Crossroads.

Take a look at one of Allakhazam's maps to figure out where the Slude Fen is, head there, and make your way into the water. The banks are guarded, but once you're actually in the water, it's easy enough to find the pendant. Look for the bubbly fissure and on the other side of the wood fence thing next to it is the pendant.

Teleport back to the Moonglade and talk to Dendrite. Fly back to Thunder Bluff and talk to the druid trainer. And have fun being a sea cow! Comment by Allakhazam Just where are the "residents" you need to speak to after you turn in the bauble?

Comment by Allakhazam they move the box that you wood have to swim out to the sunin ship for its now by the bubling fisher. Comment by Allakhazam I like most other people who posted here had a rough time with this one. These are my observations on this. Btw, I am an Elf so this will not apply to Tauren Druids. Part 1. This starts in Auberdine.

Take the road north till you come to the Cliffspring River. Follow the river out to the sea. Head north by northwest out into the ocean. I found myself trying to follow the land and ended up running into Murlocks. You should not come across any of them in this portion.

There is a rock formation a little ways out that looks like crab pincers. I had to look twice to see it, but that's what they claim. Basically, you will see one larger rock formation jutting out of the water and beyond it a smaller one.

The chest is on the far side of the formation right where the 2 rocks come together. There are threshers all around it, but I had no problems approaching along the surface.

I ended up fighting 3 of them separately before I could get to the chest. Step 2. You need to get to Westfall. I had bound in the inn in Sentinel Hill, so I teleported from water in step 1, but if you need to travel there its no biggee. If you know where this is, skip the next paragraph. If you need directions, read on. Take the boat on the left side of the dock if you are facing it from land. You end up in Menethil Harbor in the Wetlands. Make sure to talk to the griffin master.

This is contested and the mobs are bigger than you can handle, but just be careful. The cemetery is in the middle of the region by the road. Follow the road which will start moving to the east, but will bend to the south before leaving the region.

Your next land is Loch Modan. This is Alliance controlled. Thelsamar is the town in this region and has a griffin master, too. Dun Morogh is the next region and you will end up in Ironforge.

Take the tram located in the Gnome section to Stormwind. From Stormwind, you make your way southwest to Westfall. Your base of operations in Westfall is Sentinel Hill to the south of the entrance. There is a road in Westfall that circles the region. Take this road north, then west, then southwest. The road makes a sharp turn from southwest to southeast. At this point leave the road and head west. You will move down a gully to the beach. There are mobs all over this area, but keeping your eyes out you should be able to make it through with minimal fighting.

If you are having trouble you can enter the beach from any number of other access points that are not as obvious, but this makes a good landmark for this quest. Enter the water and move northwest until you get to the continental shelf.

Follow this north. There are schools of reef sharks at 22 level, but they are obvious from afar. As long as you stay close to the surface you should see them long before they pose a threat.

You are looking for a split in the shelf. This split looks like the ravine you followed down to the beach. By swimming down a bit, you should be able to make out the anchor in the sand. This is half buried and rests at the top of the ravine. Grab a fresh breath and swim down to it. Follow the ravine down to a bubbly fissure. If you stand in this, you get your breath back. Right next to the fissure is the chest you need. Point of interest, there is a shipwreck off the continental shelf.

If you have read the previous posts, this was where the chest used to be. Comment by Allakhazam Well i found that sum of the info in these posts is wrong! If u dont have Cosmos then follow the directions in My observations post, good luck to u all. Comment by Allakhazam For the Horde side at least it was easy. Water is shallo so finding the box should be no problem. Might have to watch out for the 20ish sluge monsters that may be nearby but otherwise easy. For the 2nd part it's not that hard eaither.

Look for the wrecked ship and swim directly west of it. Just before you get to the edge where the sea drops off swim straight down. You'll see the bubbling fissure and the lockbox should be right next to it. The fissure and the box re on the shelf just before it drops off into the ocean. From there i just teleported back to Moonglade while standing in the bubbles. Piece of cake.

Comment by Allakhazam So, I did this quest and got the first half of the pennant in Silverpine. But when I tried to get the second half in the Sludge Fen, the box wouldnt open. It was the one right my the bubbly fissure. Tried many times, even after logging out, doing other quests, etc. So I decided to quit the quest and redo it. But I cant get the quest! Even tried talking to Dendrite Starblaze and Turak Runetotem.

Any ideas? Comment by Allakhazam wat are the alliance coordinates? Comment by Allakhazam Thanks to all who have posted directions and tips in this thread for this quest. I finished the whole quest in under 90 mins with my L16 Druid, thanks largely to Aylyns Sepelcur shortcut and Nataries comments. My sequence was more like: Teleported to moonglade, started quest and saw the 2 flight path guys.

Stoned home Thunder Bluff for me and flew to XR. From XR headed north to Sludge Fen pond and picked up first half of pendent.

Out via the crack Aylyns Alley? The second fissure and chest is Due West of shipwreck. Chest is right next to fissure so I just teleported back to Moonglade from there. Married the 2 pieces in Moonglade and stoned home again for the quest completion. Piece-o-cake thanks to all the Druids that have gone before us. Good luck. Comment by Allakhazam There's no Alliance page for this quest that I can find.

If anyone knows where it is, can you point it out? Comment by Allakhazam It is straight WEST - but one other thing that might help is that it is just east of 4 hillocks at the edge of the drop into deep sea.

There is no other formation like it near there that I saw. Once you see those hillocks the cleft and box will be a breeze. Comment by Allakhazam Whats the Fastest way to the first peace with out getting killed? Comment by Allakhazam Does anyone know how to get the coordintes on for WoW? And where are the two flightmasters in Moonglade for the horde side?

Comment by Allakhazam one is horde, and one is alliance. Comment by Allakhazam I know the answer to this question may be obvious I have both, and have stood in the Shrins of Remulos and cannot get the halves to do anything! I wanted to ask here before assuming I missed a step and am now screwed. Comment by Allakhazam Just did this for my first Horde druid.

The location is correct in the ocean, just follow Ishal's post. The one thing not mentioned anywhere else is that there is a respawn time on the box. I died once thinking I wasn't at the right "bubbly fissure" but there is only one at 29,29 and it took awhile for the box to be there. When I came back to get my corpse it was there.

Comment by Allakhazam where can i get a program to show coordinates that works with the new patch? Comment by Allakhazam First of all, this is the -horde- version of the quest. Comment by Volpe39 Horde Found the half pendant of acquatic agility at 56,8 in Strange Lockbox, underwater. Comment by 1. If you fail, you have to go a long road from The Crossroads to The Sepulcher, as stated before. By teleporting in Moonglade, you will easily go back to TB.

The item is not very deep and is really at the edge before Silverpine and The Great Sea. So you can see it before the fatigue bar appears. Good luck. BUT i found all but still i need to find that half in silverpine anyways but i got the one from the barrens sow XD lolz Comment by Unholysergeant This quest does not seem to have a "level limit.

Comment by For the Horde quest, when you go to reunite the pendant in the Shrine of Remulos, make sure you're standing under one of the spirit gates.

Otherwise, it won't work. This drove me nuts for about five minutes before a guildmate helped me out. Comment by Hint: The "locals" who know the locations of the two halves are the 'free ride' Hippogryph and Windrider masters , on the southwest part of Nighthaven, near the Herbalist house and with a nice lake view.

Collect the two halves of the pendant. Find the shipwreck and swim due west until you reach the "dark" water. If you see the fatigue bar you've gone too far out. Take a peek below the water and look around for some bubbles : The lockbox containing the pendant half is right next to the water bubbles.

You may not see the bubbles from the surface. It is located where the shelf slopes down into the sea. Swim down to the bubbles, catch your breath, and open the box. Alliance One half is off the coast of Westfall. There are detailed instructions in the Travel Guide to get to Stormwind; you must use the "safest route" instructions at the bottom of the guide's "darnassus to ironforge or stormwind, aggro mobs will prevent you from taking the main route.

Westfall is a short distance to the southwest. Swim out due west from the Gold Coast Quarry. Swim north along the shelf where it goes off into the deep water where you get the Fatigue bar.

There is a large anchor on the bottom near the drop off. Swim to that and look out into the deep water and there is a 'bubbling fissure' looks like a huge clam. If you get in the bubble area you can breathe and recharge your air. The chest with the pendant part is right near there at. Beware because sometimes there is an elite reef shark patrolling the area. Collect it and if you don't want to mess around in Westfall, teleport to Moonglade. One half is off the coast of Darkshore.

Swim north from the mouth of the Cliffspring river until you see a claw-like rock formation with one long and skinny spire, and the second short but thick, reminiscent of a crab claw. The chest is where they come together under water. This area is patrolled by Elder Darkshore Threshers , which can be a challenge if you are level 16 and a bit low on breath.

The Threshers, while intimidating, are fairly easy to simply nuke to death with Wrath and Moonfire. There is one Thresher that is stationary right next to the chest -- this one must die. After that it's possible to simply get right above it and swim straight down without getting close enough to draw aggro from any of the patrols. Hint: along the northern shore in Darkshore , Gelkak Gyromast starts a short quest line that has an end reward of 5 elixirs of water breathing, which come in very handy in these underwater steps.

It is not able to be soloed at these levels, however. Go for a swim in the nearest body of water. You will really enjoy aquatic form for traveling around in water. Comment by This last part is just west of the shipwreck not very deep and right next to a air breathing spot quite easy to find if u head out directly west of the boat. Comment by Itachi89 I got around 8, experience for the last 2 parts of this quest at level The quest stayed yellow all the way from level 14 when I got it.

Comment by zagi This quest gives reputation with the Cenarion Circle. Comment by For lunar festival this time of year you can also use the portal lights to whisk you to stormwind. Comment by I just helped someone do this, and the Westfall half was at 17, It was right on the edge of the dropoff. Past that edge, you are in the deep sea where you can die of fatigue. If you have to hunt for the box with the pendant half, I recommend staying on the continental shelf--and a water breathing potion wouldn't hurt.

Comment by Amusingly, the teleport-to-crossroads bug that everyone is complaining about can be used to greatly reduce the time needed to complete this quest, to get a quick shortcut to the second half of the pendant. Just take off any breakable armor, go ahead and get the first part, and drown yourself make sure you're classified as in the Great Sea , and spirit res at the crossroads, head up north to get the second half, and you're done! Comment by WOW, i've done this quest for a horde druid and a ally druid now.

The ally's have one hell of a walk O. Helped my buddy do this quest awhile ago. He was a horde and we went to both the ally chests. Comment by If you are lazy like me and do this quest at level 44 its a whopping xp.

Comment by In hopes of preventing people from experiencing the amout of frustration i did while doing these quests I decided to post the locations of the pendents. Go to where the river to the north i don't remember its exact name From that point swim north, almost to the uncharted waters. Be careful as there are lvl threshers out there. Keep swimming north until you see a rock formation that looks kinda like a "v" with the bottom point below water.

It should also be the place where the threshers are congregated the most. If you are in between the v and shore the chest you need is on the ocean floor on the other side of the v the bottom part of the rock obscures this at first. You'll have to kill at least a few threshers to get it. The second one is a looooong way away in Westfall if you don't know how to get to westfall: take the boat in darkshore to methril harbour Keep going and going and going until finally you get to a series of tunnels in the south of the wetlands.

Then go all the way through to Dun Morah and then to Iron Forge this trip is freaking long. Take the Deep Run Tram to Stormwind and from storm wind go southwest until you get to westfall. Once you get to Westfall go west until you get to some kind of quarry I don't remember its name. After you get to the quarry go out to sea watching out for the murlocs. You'll know your in the right place when underwater you see an anchor right on the edge of what seems like a bottomless cliff.

When you see the anchor swim down The box is next to that place. I just teleported back to moonglade after i got the pendent. Comment by matrowop The Westfall cords Comment by To get to Westfall from Darnassus for those of us who are uber lazy: 1 Put yourself in lfg for Deadmines and see if anyone is willing to invite to summon you out.

If you get a port to Shatt, set your hearth there. Comment by obsolice has the best horde comment on this quest.

Comment by 18,33 because 17 is fatige. Comment by "Check the different zones based on your faction. According to this statement and the maps, this places the 2nd half of the pendant for the Horde on the opposite island as we have no Western Coast for the Great Sea. Veiled Sea yes, but that means the horde peice would be off of Darkshore, not Silverpine. Are we to take a ship across? I would have thought both pieces be on the same island Comment by for those of you without cartographer trying to find the second alliance piece, the anchor is directly west of Saldean's farm, at the edge of the plateau, and from there, just dive over the plateau and find the bubbles.

Comment by I'm wondering just how we are supposed to find this out in-game? Not even the windrider master - all he said was "You don't know any flight destinations connected to this one". After a couple frustrating hours of fruitless searching I gave up and "cheated" by looking up the quest on the boards. So the two halves are in completely different zones, one on the other continent So just how is a lvl 14 druid supposed to complete this if they don't know about the existence of wowhead or similar boards??????

I'm sitting in the only body of water in the sludge fen swimming around for the past 30 minutes looking for this darn thing even killed Sludge Beast and I don't see any sparkles, no box, nothin'. Comment by someone need to post up why i cannot open the box in sludge fen because i can see it but i cannot open it do i need to talk to someone in moonglade again? Comment by Petalwing The two residents of Moonglade that give clues to the whereabouts of the pendants are the druid flight masters.

Out to the west of this lies what you seek; swim too far and the ocean will crush you from fatigue. It resides on the ocean floor in a lockbox, waiting for you to claim it. You'll be hard pressed to survive a dive to such depths without aid, so take heart; a bubbly fissure offers renewed breath to divers seeking this half of the pendant. Use it wisely. The locals call it the Sludge Fen; the Venture Company has turned the once crystal-blue waters into a mire of industrial byproducts and waste.

Be warned - the Venture Company does not tolerate trespassers, and they consider anyone who does not work for them as such. You'll especially be a target as a protector of nature, something they vehemently oppose. Comment by Lol doing this quest at 16 is very hard.. Theres another elite!! I felt so owned Comment by Strong Lockbox in Silverspine Forest is located at Rivera server.

Comment by I just completed this quest at level 53, and got experience. What can i say, i wasn't really near Silverpine until now lol. Comment by Thottbot The cosmos location is 29,29 in silverpine. Comment by Thottbot 30, 29 is the coord. Also when you go to the Shrine you have to be right up on the tree or whatever it is to combine both pieces. Comment by Thottbot The pendat if easy to find, if you got the right directions. The pendat is located at 48,11 in a small box between two rock.

One straight and another leaning. How to get there.. Follow the road north of darkshore until you reach Cliffspring river bridge. Then jump in the water and just swim straight ahead. You will swim by some other rocks, follow them until you on your left sees the rock rock where on of them is leaning and the other one is bigger and straight. There are some thrasher around, you need to kill first lvl 17 Hope it helped Comment by Thottbot 56,8 in barrens 30, 29 in silverpine.

Swim just above the small island in line with the T and locate a large boat anchor. Near the edge of the deep water drop off. Look to the shoreline and you should be able to see the Windmill.

Now face West and swim out to the edge. Yes there is a lower lip you can swim down to where the fissure is located. To the left of it is the chest. This lower ledge also has a shipwreck in the back ground. Comment by Thottbot coordinates confirmed. Comment by Thottbot First lockbox is in the Barrens. The easiest way to nail it the first time is to approach Sludge Fen from the west and hit the mirky water straight on. Underwater directly in front of you through a hole in the fence is your first piece.

You avoid the other Venture Co mobs easier this way. They are fast little bastards and can attract other mobs quickly. Second Piece. Get on the road to Silverpine Forest head west. As the road begins to turn South towards the Sepulcher, head into the woods at a Western Heading until you hit the beach.

Here you will see a Sunken Boat. Swim on the Surface alllll the way directly west of it until you see the shelf break off and get deeper. Swim down and it's over. Comment by Thottbot the sludge fen is very easy Comment by Thottbot these are right i did the whole quest also with the map and these. Comment by Thottbot I'm a horde and I died 3 times when I was doing this quest.

I even had double dead my spirit died too of fatigue because I didnt know where to look for it. So to avoid this here's a tip I can give especially for those who doesnt have cosmo like me.

When you get to the sunken boat. Look at your big map and swim west. Swim straight and look at your big map again. When you see that you're about 1 inch far from the boat, dive down. You wont see the fissure from the surface so have to swim down. When you see that youre having a fatigue, that means, youre getting far from the fissure. Swim a little bcakwards then search the area again. Then you should see a lock box.

I hope this helps. Comment by Thottbot Whether you are alliance or horde here is the easiest way to find the pendants. Firstly do a thottbot search for "Strange Lockbox" You will get a dozen or so outcomes. Click on the map link next to the zone in which you need to find the lockbox i. Then head to where the solid yellow dot is on the map and head down. For more specific underwater landmarks to pinpoint the position of the pendants just read some of the posts below that describe more about that.

But at least using the maps you can be sure you are in the right area. Comment by Thottbot "As a reference, the half-eaten beached Threshadon with the Greater Fleshrippers was my landmark. Go to the head of the Threshadon or what is left of it and aim for the north end of the island just of shore. Try clearing a bit first so you won't get ganked by murlocs Now swim in this direction untill you hit the continental drop point.

Bellow the surface here you should see the anchor the flight masters mentioned. Now dive down a bit and see if you can see the bubly fizure a bit further down and far down. Your breath meter will most likely be rather low when you reach it, so swim around untill you see it and dive down do you don't suffocate dowm there. Oh, and the ship mentioned is also there. But don't try swiming out to it. Tried a few times but you can only get to the door and no further if you want to have a chance to return to the fizure alive.

Alternately you could ofcourse dive in and see how far you can come before you die, but i didn't feel like corpse running once again ; The other part of the quest was very accurate tho :. Comment by Thottbot Okay, so far, everyone is right but I still had difficulty finding the pendant half in Westfall. The simplest way I can think of to find it would be to go near the large thresher that is beached in Westfall. There is no need to go near the murlocs so don't worry about doing that.

There is an island very near to the shore. If you swim around to the other side of the island you will be near the cliff edge you will see a reef shark swimming around if you don't, just wait for a minute and when he heads north, follow him.

He will swim right past the anchor. When you locate the anchor, make sure you have a full breath and go over the edge right where the anchor is. You will see the air fissure and you go stand on it. The one in Darkshore is a little different. If you go to the mouth of the Cliffspring river and look at your big map you will see three islands that are a little north of all the other ones.

Swim out to them. The two furthest from shore will have 8 or 9 threshers swimming around them and the box is in the middle. You can try to sneak in to get it but the most threshers you have to kill to get to the box is two. I hope everyone finds this helpful. GO exact Northwest from the little Island.

Then Look for an anchor near the deep drop You will see the fissure with the lovely air bubbles that let's you breath and beside it is the chest with the Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance That's how you give adwise ;- Solutions Inc. Comment by Thottbot Hello. I was on this quest, then I abandoned it. Now I can't get any more Druid quests. Do I need to restart the pendent quest, and if so, how do I do this?

Please help. I want to do more druid quests. Comment by Thottbot I was looking at 29,29 30,29 etc.. Comment by Thottbot I found the cords for the 2nd half.

In Silverpine in the water the coords are 29,29 and thats right on the bubble, its down the cliff under the water. Comment by Thottbot the people you need to ask for the quest are the thunder bluff flight master and the allience flight master.

Comment by Thottbot Yes, this piece can be a real nasty one to find, but I submitted a couple of screenshots to help show you exactly where it is. Comment by Thottbot im a lvl 16 druid for the allaince ive already got the pendant of agility and have found the lockbox next to the bubbly fissure in westfall, but every time i go to try an open it, it wont let me what have i done wrong in this quest pls pls pls help me. Comment by Thottbot Speak to the druid windmasters for clues to the locations of the pieces.

For the Horde, you have to go to the Barrens and Silverpine. The Barrens part is in the Sludge Fen at 56,8 and the Silverpine is off of North Tide at 30,29 as someone mentioned earlier. Comment by Thottbot haha, i spent close to 4 hours doing the quest as a horde druid and i went to both ally locations instead of horde ones reading ally commesnts ftl.

It was quite simple. And, when you got to the Shrine of Remulos, you have to be standing under on just right front of that Reulos, to make the pendant. Comment by Thottbot after i have found the pendants, where can i find proximity of the Shrine of Remulos?

Comment by Thottbot i cant find anyone to talk to to give me clues to where the halves are They each tell you where one half of it is. Comment by Thottbot i done everything else but my hearthstone isnt charged howcan i get back except for waiting or walking.

I have no idea why they are at the same threat. BTW everything's explained by two flight masters in Moonglade. Comment by Thottbot Jst use the screenshots and whoever put those in ty so much it took me a while til i looked at those :. Comment by Allakhazam You don't have to do this, but in case you want to know who to ask for the clues, it's the two hippogryph masters. Comment by Allakhazam One of the easiest form quest lol.

Comment by Allakhazam 17,32 on the cosmos map is right on, right by the fissure. Heh glad I scrolled down through the comments to check. Also, "just for IF lag" go into Video Options and turn the cursor option on. FYI; now that ive learned to navigate lag; i never switch the Interface Cursor help thing anymore. As well, prior to IF, plan your strategy, manage your bags, etc.

However, there is a bank very close to the AH anyhow. Still i find planning makes IF a breeze. I spend 9 to 18 minutes doing my stuff. Comment by Allakhazam The maps saved me a lot of time. Thanks for the help! But you could probably buy or trade for it. Also, there are some mean murlocs all along the beach in Westfall, so you might want to go with a companion who can clean them out with you. Takes two; they have minions. I dont have the map add-on either but anyone can easily use the maps from and to swim out and find it.

I'm not very good at handling my guy underwater and thought it would be considerable more difficult. But turned out not to be hard at all. Watch out for the Mobs around the box in Auberdine.

For me there was one Mob almost sitting on the box. I had to kill it before I could get the box. He will follow you to the surface. I don't believe you need the water breathing potions. I did it with a lvl Edited, Jan 13th am by smellyb. Comment by Allakhazam I've been searching for the anchor for forever and cant find it. Is in on the ledge or down a ways. Also how far out is this quest, I have a feeling I keep going to far, but I cant find anything. Comment by Allakhazam For anyone who would like to know what the locals say so they can figure out the quest for themselves, the text is below.

An anchor shows where a boat has sunk beyond it, deep within the water. The underwater pressure is fierce here; swimming too far will crush even the mightiest swimmer from fatigue. Look for a natural formation to aid you - a bubbly fissure is near here, offering deep-water swimmers a chance for renewed breath. As the river flows out and empties out into the Mist's Edge, travel north to where the deepest parts of the ocean begin. A stone formation that some call the Stone Claw due to its shape is where you may find what you seek.

Be warned - threshers gather by the Stone Claw, and will attack those who trespass on their territory. Comment by Allakhazam I just finished this at lvl Thanks for all the info from everyone else, it really helped. I especially liked the guy who swam all the way from Menethil to IF - sounds like something I would've done too a while back when I first started playing WOW I didn't this time, I ran on the path.

Get your clues from the 2 gryphon masters in Moonglade after you pick up the quest. I did buy some water breathing elixir in SW and it helped, although not really necessary, just eliminated that stress of running out of air. Comment by Allakhazam finished this quest last night. Edited, Tue Nov 9 Comment by Allakhazam You'll probably want to open the flight routes before you start this quest just to save time while the quest timer is running.

I believe that it is 3. It is 50c if you fly from Ironforge to Stormwind. Free if you take the tram. Comment by Allakhazam Leads to quest "Aquatic Form". Comment by Allakhazam Does anyone know what the guy means by "speak to the citizens of Moonglade", because when I went to see what they could tell me, all of them either wouldn't talk to me or would only say one thing over and over again!

Comment by Allakhazam haha sorry. Comment by Allakhazam Hey all u guys are talking about these cordinates. Comment by Allakhazam Thank you Elenmir, your info was perfect, I couldn't have asked for better directions, just watch out for all the crazy villiagers when going to the quarry. Comment by Allakhazam i can only speak for myself. And its great in game somebody says where is "xxx" and you can simply say go to Comment by Allakhazam does anyone know the coordinates for the location off Silverpine Forest and the sludge fen for the horde pendant?

Many thanks in advance. Comment by Allakhazam Read the guides below by other people, they are very useful. I soloed this at lvl 16 westfall and lvl 17 darkshore. Not really a big deal at all. I'm not going to talk about the location of the boxes since they have already been mentioned by other people. Just a couple of things to note: You don't need to talk to any locals, just go ahead and get your pendants. And do yourself a favour and get 2 Elixir of Water Breathing from the auction house or an alchemist friend.

They let you breath under water for 30 mins and make your life so much easier. In Westfall, you'll run into all kinds of mobs on the shore: defias, murlocks, wolfs, so be prepared. Once I was in the water I encountered no mobs. They are easily killable since they are the same lvl as you are as long as you have taken your elixir and don't have to worry about breathing.

Once you get the two pendants, teleport back to moonglade, combine them in that shrine by right-clicking on one of them, and so on and so forth. Comment by Allakhazam 1st Darkshore, 2nd Westfall these are the coordiantes for the 2 halfs of the pendant. The half in darkshore ull find by some sea monsters thast not ther name tho. The half in westfall is very hard to find go to these coordinates and just before you get fatigue dive down really deep just down the egde of the sea floor and you will see a ledge and on it is another strange lock box.
